For an understanding on what's going on, read the description below :) Our movie is a recreation of the scene from the book where Mr. Ewell chases Jem and Scout through the pasture after the Halloween party. We decided to recreate the scene by putting together movie clips from many different movies. We used iMovie on Carters Mac to create the movie and we think it turned out really nicely. We chose this specific project because Eli had a great idea and it sounded really cool to try. This project gave us the opportunity to try it. Here is a timeline of the movie with explanations of what each clip represents. • 20th Century Fox- Every great movie starts with one of these • Devil clip- The children know that there is something behind them but they aren't sure who or what it is. It scares them just like the "devil" is scaring the people in the elevator. • Shining clip- Though the children don't know it, Mr. Ewell is the person chasing them. Mr. Ewell is a little drunk and crazed at this point in the scene. This clip really captured what we thought what Mr. Ewell was feeling and doing in that moment. • Harry Potter, Ong Bak, Bourne, Casino Royal, and Star Wars chase scenes- Represents the kids running away from Bob. We know it isn't exactly like the book with just one guy chasing a boy and a girl, but we wanted to get as many cool chases as possible. • Nacho Libre fight scene- This shows Mr. Ewell finally catching the kids and starting to wrestle with them. • Karate kid fight ...
